End of the Summer
Been awhile since I blogged. Read all the others but haven't written one myself, most likely cause I haven't had much to talk about.
Well Monday was the last holiday for the summer, kinda making it officially over. Was a good weekend. Went to the beach and did a whole lot of nothing. The R&R was great. Also allowed me to no have classes on Monday; always good.
Not a great deal has happened between this post and my last. Did start classes and my new job. My boss took me out to eat my last day, it was good. They finally implemented the drop down navigation that I had been working on, on and off, for the last year. I think I went through about 3-4 different ideas before I got one that worked right on all browsers. Check the USA homepage out if you want to see it. Note though that its a modified version of mine. They removed all the images that I had to make it look very similar to the original.
New job is great. Unfortunately, I still have to be at South every day which means I have to drive over every day. Work is not that hard, just have to remember to sign my time sheet. I don't have access to it like I did at Web Services so not as much time to sign it.
The ACM is having a fairly large amount of people join. Hopefully it will keep growing and become as good as I hear it once was. One new member is on a Quake 3 drive. We have more maps than one would ever need. We also have a few moods for it as well.
Well that's about it. Be back when....
